I was born and raised in a small town in eastern Iowa.  Today, I live with my husband and three children in Waukee, IA.  I love spending time with my family, playing sand volleyball, and listening to music.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2007.  After spending another year in private accounting at the job I worked during college, I moved to Des Moines and spent most of the next 12 years working for a couple of small public accounting firms.  During that time, I decided to sit for the CPA exam and obtained my license in 2013. Prior job roles have given me an abundance of experience in preparing all kinds of tax returns, as well as bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax reporting.  I’ve worked with countless clients across various industries from dental offices to realtors to landscapers to consultants and many more.  I also have a lot of experience in dealing with the IRS and their notices.

While I am physically located in the Des Moines area, I’m currently working with people in several other states as well. I love to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
